I see smoke on the horizon
a sense of fear rising up through the air
I can hear the women crying
the sound of mountains crumbling into the plains
the seas give birth
bodies washing ashore
the smell of death
is carried on the wind
shades of red on the horizon
all hope for redemption is now far gone
gravity pulling hard at my limbs
vigour leaves me as I fall to the ground
the smoke has cleared
black rain is falling
carpet of ash
as far as the eye can see
