The first album was good but this is even better - it's a jagged, dissonant black metal journey that's both hypnotic and unsettling. When it's all done I need to remind myself to breathe again. Metal-ur-G
I've had a poster of this album for years, only fitting I finally buy the album. This album completely destroyed me emotionally when it came out, I love the juxtaposition of soft and clean vocals with banshee shrieks interspersed within the songs. A must have for any fan of blackened hardcore. porcelainheart-
On their ferocious self-titled debut, the Australian punks pit d-beat percussion against gnarled, metallic melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024
An absolutely pummeling assault of thick sludgy riffs, guttural rumbles, and tribal drums. Listening to this album is like being slowly buried by an avalanche. Practically makes Isis sound like Top 40 pop music by comparison. mattgraupman
